Apologetics Overview
Slide 1 of 2
About this community
This course provides a comprehensive analysis of the intellectual defense of the Christian faith. It moves beyond mere academic theory to provide a practical framework for pastors, ministry leaders, and teachers to engage the culture effectively. We will explore the mechanics of logical reasoning, the identification of logical fallacies, and the construction of persuasive arguments. More importantly, we will examine how to remove intellectual barriers to the Gospel by using evidence from science, history, and philosophy, all while maintaining the Christlike character mandated in 1 Peter 3:15. The course emphasizes that the goal of apologetics is not to win an argument, but to win the person by pointing them toward the truth of Jesus Christ.
