About this community
🌿 Welcome to the Clean Language Practice Room.
This is your space to explore, play, and grow your skills using the elegant simplicity of Clean Language.
Clean Language is a method of asking questions that keeps your own assumptions out of the conversation. Instead of leading, guessing, or interpreting — you stay curious and invite the speaker to discover what their experience is really like.
This practice room is free and open to all levels. Whether you're new to Clean or refreshing your skills, you're in the right place.
Clean Language was developed by David Grove, a therapist who noticed that clients would go deeper when he used their exact words — without changing or interpreting them. Over time, he created a precise set of questions to support that process. These questions are clean because they reduce the influence of the questioner's assumptions, allowing the speaker's own metaphors and meanings to unfold.
Think of it as facilitating their awareness without steering their mind.
