Compassionate Recovery Project

About this course

This program is for people who have done real work in recovery and still feel like something is missing. You may have stopped the addictive substance, behavior, or pattern. You may be functioning well, meeting responsibilities, showing up. And inside, there may still be pressure, reactivity, self-criticism, or the quiet sense that recovery should feel more free than it does.

Compassionate Recovery is a nine-month integration experience built around three layers: recovering from the addictive pattern, recovering from what the addiction was helping manage, and recovering your true identity.

You will journal, track your experience, and practice new ways of relating to what happens inside you.

You will be asked to take an honest and compassionate look at your life. This will help you see beyond your blind spots and eventually gain access to hidden resources within you. Immersion in this course will change how you view yourself, your recovery, and the people in your life. And it will awaken you to possibilities that a life of effortful self-management makes impossible.

You do not need to belong to any particular recovery tradition. What you need is the willingness to begin.
