About this community
Hi, I’m Alexandra.
I’m a Chartered Physio, endurance athlete and founder of The Movement Hacking Project.
A lot of the work I do now comes from my own experiences with movement, injury and recovery. I was born with a rare vascular condition affecting my left leg and spent years believing there were things my body simply wouldn’t be able to do.
Since then I’ve qualified twice for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships, completed Marathon des Sables and spent years working with runners, athletes and active people who feel frustrated that their body still doesn’t feel quite right, even after doing all the things they were told would help.
What interests me most isn’t just injury itself. It’s why people lose trust in their body, why certain movement patterns keep repeating and why so many people end up stuck managing themselves instead of actually moving freely again.
That’s what led me to create The Movement Hacking Project. Welcome 🩷
