Neurodiversity Parent Guide

About this community

Welcome to The Neurodiversity Parent Guide Community.

This is a safe, supportive space for parents who want to better understand their child and the patterns that may sit beneath behaviour.

Many parents notice things long before anyone else does. Perhaps your child holds it together all day at school but falls apart at home. Maybe small changes trigger big reactions, or you have a feeling there is something more going on but are struggling to find answers. If that sounds familiar, you're in the right place.

Created by Karla Auker, a former primary school teacher with over 15 years of experience supporting children and families, this community is here to help you understand sensory differences, emotional regulation, masking, neurodiversity, and the nervous system in a way that feels practical, reassuring, and free from judgement.

Inside the group you'll find free resources, expert guidance, educational content, and support from parents walking a similar path.
