Open Book is a reading community built around one simple idea: the same words can mean something different to every reader.

Here, books are not just something we finish—they are something we question, interpret, discuss, and experience together. Members explore fiction, nonfiction, memoir, essays, classics, contemporary works, and more while sharing the perspectives they bring to the page.

There is no requirement to agree, reach the “right” interpretation, or read a book the same way as everyone else. Open Book is a space for curiosity, thoughtful disagreement, unexpected connections, and conversations that continue long after the final page.
