# About Old Timers Day Community
The Old Timers Day Community was created to celebrate the people, stories, traditions, and memories that have made baseball America's pastime for generations.
More than a game, baseball has always been a bridge between generations. It has connected families, built lifelong friendships, strengthened communities, and created memories that last far beyond the final inning. The Old Timers Day Community exists to preserve those stories and ensure that the legacy of the game continues to inspire future generations.
Our mission is to honor the players, coaches, families, fans, and communities that have contributed to the rich history of baseball. Through storytelling, historical preservation, community engagement, special events, and media projects, we aim to keep the spirit of the game alive while celebrating the people who helped build it.
