About this community
Our philosophy is that it's never too early to examine and evaluate your relationship with alcohol. There has been so much stigma around abstaining, whether by choice or necessity, that many people are too afraid to seek help before hitting "rock bottom".
Here, whenever a person questions their drinking to determine if it is no longer serving them,
it is not only accepted but celebrated.
We don't advocate prohibition or villify alcohol or those who do drink it; we are realistic. The choice not to imbibe is a powerful and rewarding one. The many gains and overwhelming sense of positivity and authority over our lives is so strong that the impulse to drink is no longer driven by a subconscious, automatic response.
We make conscious decisions around drinking (or not drinking) and in so doing we have taken our power back. It truly has become small and irrelevant in our lives. This is a solo journey. We may walk the path alongside one another, but the path we're on is our own.
