Onaje Barnes began his journey in corporate America in 2005, but a sudden layoff during a major merger at age 26 changed everything. While devastating at the time, it taught a valuable lesson: corporations prioritize their interests, not yours. It wasn’t their job to make Onaje wealthy—that was Onaje’s responsibility.
This pivotal realization sparked a passion for investing in real estate. Onaje slowly developed a small Real estate Portfolio buying one house at a time. Over the years, he has grown his business into 6 companies. These include 3 Apartment complexes, 1 boutique hotel “Th3 Escape”, A data analytics & marketing company, a Property Management Company, and The Wealth Masterminds Academy where he teaches aspiring real estate investors how to get started and maintain their assets. Due to his humble beginnings, Onaje has a passion for educating people on wealth creation and alternative retirement solutions.
