Write Angles Critique

The WRITE ANGLES CRITIQUE GROUP was formed in 2022. We are a small but active group of authors at various stages of our writing journeys, and all committed to improving our craft and supporting each other in doing so. Our critique sessions run in rounds of 4-6 weeks in a continuing cycle throughout the year, with a short break over the Christmas period. Each sub-group consists of up to 6 authors, with either a picture book focus, or a ‘mixed’ focus of either junior fiction, mid-grade fiction or young adult fiction. Members submit a piece for critiquing once in each round and provide a critique for each of the members in their group during the round. Members are welcome to ask questions in the group, promote their writing-related events or products, and share submission and competition opportunities. We also have a sub-group – Write Angles Special Projects – which operates intermittently when there are competitions, submission windows or other opportunities.
