POST 1: Welcome to Flourish By Faith

Welcome to Flourish By Faith. I am so glad you are here. This community was created for women who want to know God’s Word—not simply collect information about it. You do not need a seminary degree. You do not need a shelf full of study Bibles, twelve different highlighters, or handwriting that belongs in an Instagram reel. You do not even need to feel particularly confident yet. You only need a Bible, a willing heart, and a desire to slow down long enough to understand what you are reading. Inside this community, we are going to learn how to: • Read Scripture carefully • Understand what the text is actually saying • Consider what it meant to its original audience • Recognize what it teaches us about God • Apply biblical truth faithfully to our lives You will find teaching posts, guided practice, reflection questions, community discussions, and plenty of reminders that Bible study is a skill we learn over time. There is no prize for finishing first. There is also no shame in asking questions. Begin by exploring the Start Here channel. Then introduce yourself inside Flourish Together and tell us what brought you to this community. My prayer is that Flourish By Faith becomes a place where you learn to open your Bible with greater confidence, curiosity, humility, and expectation. Not because every passage will immediately feel simple—but because you will know how to stay with it when it does not. Welcome to the table. We have saved you a seat. Flourish Together Introduce yourself below and share one thing you hope to gain from this community. P.S. Your Bible does not have to be perfectly highlighted before you begin. In fact, it is probably safer for all of us if we read the words before assigning seven different colors to them.
