Lesson 2 Comprehension Digital Downloads

Your Lesson 2 digital downloads are ready!

These resources are designed to help you take everything you noticed during close reading and turn it into a clear, cohesive understanding of the passage.

Here’s what’s included:
Lesson 2 Steps PDF
A printable guide that walks you through the comprehension process step by step—from reviewing your notes, to grouping ideas, identifying the flow of the chapter, and creating a clear summary.

Comprehension Bookmark
Print it, tuck it into your Bible or journal, and use it as a quick reminder of the process while you study.

Digital Quick-Reference Image
Save this one directly to your phone or tablet so you can pull it up anytime you need a little guidance without digging through your notes.

You do not have to use every resource every time you study. Think of these as tools to help you practice the process until it starts to feel natural.

The goal of Lesson 2 is simple: before we ask what a passage means, we want to be able to clearly explain what it says.

Download them, keep them somewhere easy to access, and use whichever format works best for you as you practice this week.

Lesson 1 Digital Downloads

Your Week 1 Downloads Are Here! 🌸

I wanted to make sure you have everything you need to keep practicing what we covered in our first lesson together — so I put together three downloads you can print, save, or pull up on your phone anytime you open your Bible.

Here's what each one is and how to use it:

The 7 Bible Clues Bookmark
This is your cheat sheet. It lists all seven clues we talked about in lesson one — repeated words, transition words, commands, questions, contrasts, lists, and anything that makes you stop. Print it and tuck it in your Bible, or save it to your phone so it's always close when you're studying. You don't have to memorize anything. Just use it as a guide while you read.

The "I Notice…" Practice Worksheet
This is where you actually do the work. Write your passage at the top, then work through each clue one by one. There's space to record what you found and room for at least three "I notice…" statements. Use it for this week's homework passages, or any time you sit down to study and want a little structure to guide you.

The Takeaway Quote Card
Save this one to your phone or print it and put it somewhere you'll see it this week. It's a simple reminder of the one thing I want you to carry with you: The goal isn't to finish the chapter. The goal is to notice the Author. That's it. That's the whole lesson in one sentence.

You've got everything you need. Now just open your Bible and ask one question:

What do I notice?

I can't wait to hear what you're seeing. Drop your "I notice…" statements in the comments — let's collect clues together. 🌸
