Introduce Myself

For more than 40 years, I've had the privilege of working with children, parents, foster families, and professionals as a child and family therapist, trainer, author, and Executive Director of Family Success Northwest. My wife, Beth, and I have been married for 51 years, and together we've dedicated much of our lives to helping families navigate life's challenges.

One lesson I've learned is that failure doesn't have to define our future. We all face what I call "Trouble", those obstacles, setbacks, fears, and doubts that try to convince us to give up. My work focuses on helping children and adults recognize those challenges, build their Personal Power, and discover that resilience can be learned. Even while coloring with a child!

I'm here to learn from all of you, share ideas, encourage others, and continue growing myself. I believe that when people support one another, refuse to let setbacks have the final word, and choose hope over fear, incredible things can happen.

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and being part of the conversations ahead.
